*Update – the toaster pastry search

Here’s where I’m at so far

I had the bad experience with the “Our Family” brand cherry toaster pastries a few weeks ago.

Since then I’ve tried

Nature's Path - Raspberry Toaster Pastry

Nature's Path - Raspberry Toaster Pastry (Organic) -- These weren't too terrible. The flavor was similar to a raspberry Nutragrain bar, (which is unfortunately a Kellogg's product but the best way I know how to describe it.) only the crust tastes grainy and dry

Nature's Path - Cherry Pomegran (Organic) -- I liked these better than the Raspberry made by the same brand. These were much more flavorful, but not too strongly cherry flavored like the Our Family pastries were

Market Pantry - strawberry

Market Pantry - Strawberry -- I like the crust on these, but I don't get how it's strawberry flavored. It was more of a watered-down fruit punch flavored oozy filling. I was pretty bummed because they look super good on the the box..

Market Pantry - Brown Sugar & Cinnamon

Market Pantry - Brown Sugar & Cinnamon -- Normally brown sugar & cinnamon is not my favorite, but this one surprised me. One of those "You don't think you like it when you first start chewing it but slowly it all starts coming together and it kinda grows on you or at least you think so anyway and so you take another bite" type experiences...I actually ate both pastries! But the filling really is weird. Maybe next time I'll try eating it not toasted ..
